About East Meets Barry West

Meet Barry, a young Irish lad about to set out on the trip of a lifetime. He is off to sunny Bulgaria in search of sun, fun, and beautiful women. But within a few hours of landing at his destination, he has managed to lose everything except the clothes on his back.In a stroke of good fortune, Barry meets Lisa, an uptight trainee vet out to rescue her wayward sister from a sinister Bulgarian gangster.

The duo enter a battle of wits whilst travelling across the stunning backdrop of the Bulgarian countryside. As they near their destination – the Black Sea paradise town of Varna – Barry’s natural charm works its magic, and their constant bickering gives way to friendship, reliance, and a shared respect for the Bulgarian culture.
